Before & after being adopted! 🐶

It hurts my heart that people who buy from breeders mean well, but don't take the minute to think about how they're denying a loving home to an animal in a shelter.

There are more than enough animals in need that you NEVER need to breed/buy! 🧡

Just on ABC radio news: NSW enacted a law yesterday, that if you’ve had a drug conviction in the last ten years, police can at anytime, enter and search your property without a warrant. This is a diabolical law, passed without any media coverage or scrutiny. Dictatorship by law

The Autistic urge to help anyone and everyone in need to the best of your ability and means, and then to suffer alone when you’re the one in need because you find it so incredibly difficult to ask others for help.

ANALYSIS: If the rest of the world took the same level of action as Australia's political parties, the LNP would bring us 3-4˚C of warming, Labor 2˚C, Teal Independents 1.5˚C (upper band) & the Greens comfortably within 1.5˚C. bit.ly/CA_Ausvotes22

Followed! I haven't really been using my bookwyrm account but keen to make some friends on the platform.

The ACT Legislative Assembly has today passed reforms to sexual consent laws in the ACT, ensuring that consent to sexual activity must be actively and affirmatively communicated.

It is beyond disappointing the ABC is not hosting a leaders' debate.

Roe v. Wade is based on the 'right to privacy.' If the majority opinion by SCOTUS suggests that the constitution does not protect the right to privacy... that affects a WHOLE lot of other decisions. Buckle up - this is the beginning of a lot of potential ugliness.
A thread.

@JulieS604 @gutman_sarah We are becoming a 3rd world country relative to Canada in so many ways. Every other developed country listens to scientists and has universal healthcare—and abortion rates are lower due to that, paid maternity leave etc. We’ve lost 2 more yrs in LE since 2018

Lots of people have been asking for our how to vote. Please remember that these are only recommendations, and voters now have full control of your own preferences! But here’s how to vote to replace this most destructive government with one that will care for people & planet.

So, can we talk about actually taking the climate crisis seriously during this election campaign?

24 days to go, and we have both major parties still committed to more fossil fuels and few journalists challenging them on it. twitter.com/Ayishas12/status/1

I don't really agree that Musk buying Twitter is the apocalypse, like everyone is claiming, but I am glad that is trending and people are moving to , because it is the superior platform - it just needed some more users.

Is your repo a reproducible build too? That is one of the big selling point of the main F-Droid repos for me.

@veganact Bede was an amazing character and he will be missed so greatly by both human and animal alike. =(

That's awesome. I went to Scotland recently and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of veganised local dishes. I'll have to check that book out.

You have three main issues.
1. Details you provide. Obviously a disposable email address and/or phone number is required here.
2. Your browser data/cache/cookies. A private window / Firefox temporary container should be sufficient here.
3. Your access method. They will track you based on IP if they can so access via VPN or some other connection not tied to your usual internet access would be best.
